I practice Neurogeriatrics in Denver, Colorado (Colorado Neurogeriatrics), serving Front Range, Central Mountains and Eastern Plains, providing Senior friendly, patient-centered care including: Evidence based clinical assessment of cognitive, affective and behavioral functions, as well as medico-legal capacity, for patients age 65 and up. Clarification of memory, attention, focus, learning, language, perceptual motor, visual spatial, social cognition and decision making per everyday living. Impact assessment of comorbidities including Arthritis, Cancer, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Lupus, Migraine, Multiple Sclerosis, Obesity, Parkinson's, Pulmonary Disease. Baseline exam and monitoring of neurocognitive and neurobehavioral status and change including pre- and post- surgeries or therapies. Capacity assessment including, e.g., consent, functional, financial, testamentary, independent living. Palliative patient care in tandem with Caregiver support and problem-solving. Some colleagues also know me as a Human Factors Design Engineer with a focus on biotechnology and accessibility (bench to bedside), working with teams to surface opportunity borne out of tacit, qualitative-quantitative analysis and synthesis. This includes leading discovery to delivery, needfinding, translation and development. Because such frameworks are centered on human experience, my work has scaled across industries including agriculture, architecture, healthcare, heavy machine, medicine, industrial design, urban planning.

The practice primarily focuses on assessment and evaluation of neurocognitive related conditions in patients age 65 and Older. Together with Primary Care, Internal Medicine and Specialities, we provide professional care in a patient-friendly and compassionate environment. We follow up-to-date practice guidelines, appropriately use the latest technologies available, and rely upon years clinical experience to evaluate most neurocognitive issues. The office is set-up to run efficiently which allows us to spend much more time with you, providing outstanding care and communication. We rely on many contemporary digital technologies however, these will never replace the one-to-one attention we give to every patient, every time we see them.
