I work with individuals, families, and couples to create solutions and positive growth in the face of diverse challenges and difficulties. I believe that we are all unique, intelligent, resourceful and creative, and that all people deserve help that reflects this.
I am a psychotherapist with five years post-masters experience providing psychotherapy to adults, children, couples and families in private and community settings in both English and Spanish, currently providing treatment in private practice in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I am particularly skilled in the treatment of trauma and helping individuals to heal from and find meaning in the face of life's challenges, including experiences of physical and sexual abuse and violence. I am also particularly interested in the treatment of eating disorders/problems and approach this work from a feminist relational model.
I am committed to a holistic approach to healing, growth, and wellness, and this is reflected in my clinical work in my attention to the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of my clients. I am also deeply committed to social justice and sex positivity in my work.
