Amanda N. Jones, MA, LPC received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from Belmont Abbey College, and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She provides therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Amanda has worked with clients on issues such as, depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, behavior disorders, low self esteem, mood disorders, domestic violence, anger management, substance abuse, and grief. In addition to her graduate work in mental health, she has worked at Carolina Center for Counseling's Psychosocial Rehabilitation program, previously known as Piedmont Pioneer House. Amanda has been a Mental Health Consultant for Gaston Community Action Head Start program since 2014. Amanda integrates Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered Planning, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Problem Solving, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to assist each individual, and family in reaching their goals.
