This content was provided by Dr. Berbos "Dr. Zachary Berbos was born and raised in South Dakota. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Religion and Philosophy at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. Thereafter, he attended medical school at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, graduating with highest honors in all fields of study. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota's Department of Ophthalmology and was honored by serving as Chief Resident in his final year and scored in the top 1% nationally on his Ophthalmology board exams. He then completed a two-year fellowship in Cosmetic and Functional Oculoplastic and Facial Surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah; training under Drs. Richard Anderson and John McCann at the Center for Facial Appearances, which is recognized as one of the top training programs in the nation for oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Berbos is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He specializes in treating conditions involving the eyebrows, forehead, eyelids, orbit (eye socket), lacrimal (tear) system, mid face and lower face. Dr. Berbos has a particular interest in eyelid and facial reconstruction following skin cancer removal. His area of expertise also includes cosmetic surgery involving these areas, as well as non-surgical modalities to improve cosmetic appearance including botulinum toxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin), Skin Resurfacing and a variety of injectable dermal fillers (Juvederm, Belotero, Radiesse, Restylane, etc.) Oculoplastic Services Include: Eyelid Surgery Eyebrow and Forehead Surgery Orbital Surgery Tear-Drain Surgery Botulinum Toxins, Dermal Fillers, and Skin Resurfacing "

Had my upper eyelids done 15 months ago by Dr. Berbos. They look fantastic! I'm 73 and the surgery took 10 years off. Yes for the first visit there was a wait but it was more than worth my time to get an excellent surgeon. Dr. Berbos explained every little detail in language I could understand....more

I saw Dr. Berbos for weak eyelid muscles blocking my vision. He was very kind and thoroughly explained the problem in terms I could understand.
