Dr. Youssef Rizk is committed to providing state of the art medical care by incorporating the science and art of medicine with compassion, integrity and dignity for all his patients, serving in South East Michigan as well as the surrounding areas. He has been providing comprehensive treatment for vascular diseases' for more than 15 years. He has been on staff at St. John Providence Health System since 2002. Dr. Rizk is also on staff at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital as well as William Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe. Dr. Rizk established his own private practice Vascular and Endovascular Institute of Michigan, P.C. in 2009 with offices in Clinton Township and Detroit. Dr. Rizk was recognized as one of the area's most respected vascular surgeons in Hour Detroit magazine's "Top Docs" listing. Languages Spoken: Arabic, English and French Dr. Rizk attended the University of Florida in Gainesville where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Science. He continued his education and attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Sunrise, Florida and graduated with Doctor Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He then moved to Michigan to complete postgraduate residency training in General Surgery and Vascular fellowship at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. Seeking a higher level of Vascular and Endovascular training, Dr. Rizk completed fellowship training in Endovascular Surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is Fellowship trained in the management of vascular disorders with expertise in minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Youssef Rizk is Board certified in General and Vascular surgery. Dr. Rizk is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and a member of numerous national and local vascular societies including the Society for Vascular Ultrasound, Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Osteopathic Association, Macomb County Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association and Oakland County Osteopathic Association. In addition to his training and practice experience, Dr. Rizk also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His academic activities include authoring scientific articles and abstracts, as well as giving lectures. Dr. Rizk is currently the Program Director of General Surgery at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, located in Clinton Township, Michigan.
