I had my total knee replacement on February 5, 2019 and I'm extremely glad I had Dr. Mittal. Dr. Mittal along with his staff treated me with great care and have answered all my questions. I was presented with information on my surgery that more than prepared me for what's to follow. I asked several physical therapist for recommendations and each gave me one name, Dr. Mittal. He's worthy of the wait time to be seen. There aren't enough stars to rate him or his staff. James Bogan

Great Doctor for having a knee replacement. Uses robotics. My knee was in really bad shape and the knee replacement removed 30 years of pain. I can walk and workout several times a week. Highly recommended. Downside is he is so busy with great referrals and helping; it may take a long time to get on the surgery schedule.

NO! NO! NO! No regard or compassion about his patients! It’s all about volume and making money. He doesn’t care if the patient gets better or not. I wouldn’t go back to him EVER.

I had to wait 6 months to get on Dr. Mittal's schedule for total knee replacement but it was worth it. The difference between his results and the results of my first knee replacement (by another doctor who is supposed to be top notch) is startling! I enthusiastically recommend him to my family and friends even if you have to wait!

I went to see him with horrible knee pain. I did not see anyone until and hour and 45 minutes after my appointment time. They did an x-ray and then I saw him. He told me I need a partial of full knee replacement and someone would call the next week to set it up. Granted I did not ask how long it might take from that point to get something done but from the way he talked I thought it would be soon. After two weeks I called them back and was told it would be at least 7 months!

no patient care after surgery. had partial knee replacement in oct and within two weeks having complications but could not get an appt with dr mitall. was told all of his patients see the PA. continued to have complications with pain being worse than before surgery. he did mri in december. did blood work in jan to rule out infection and was told he would call or someone would call me to let me know results. it is now jun and still haven't been notified. don't go to him if you want pt care.

If Mittal does an MRI make sure you see the actual report. Don't just go by what he says the report says. He told me my MRI said cartilage was torn and was very quick to want to do a knee surgery. The MRI did not say that at all.

Dr Mittal and his p.a., Chris Pace, are top notch! Dr Mittal took time to listen to & answer my questions. I never felt that he was rushed or that I was just another $. Chris was attentive & thorough & explained the recovery time & process clearly. I would recommend them to anyone needing an orthopedic doctor.

i would NEVER recommend Dr Mittal . my mother had a THA and a THA revision and pelvic fractures stabilization a year later. she's in excellent health/superb bone density.. why weren't fractures detected earlier.. no falls. continued pain until her femur pushed through her pelvis to abdominal cavity ..she followed up with him multiple x complaining of pain ..he admitted the cup and screws were shifting AGAIN but " we will monitor this"..monitor fractures and continue weight bearing? total neglect

Dr. Mittal did my left knee replacement in 2012, and I'm soon to have the right replaced in 2016. I have researched nationwide for a great Orthopedic surgeon, and he gets top billing from me. I travel roundtrip from Kansas City to Tulsa for piece of mind that I'm getting the best evaluation, treatment, surgery & aftercare from one of the best. I've never had a bad experience with the front desk staff, the RN's, or the Doctor. If you want to see Dr. Mittal in action, look him up on Youtube.

Dr. Mittal is great. So is his PA Chris Pace. Both are wonderful listeners, attentive and care about you. We are very happy with both of them. However the rudeness of TOC's staff when you check in (no matter which floor) is totally unacceptable. Try some training in customer service.
