He was pleasant my first visit, called me to give me results of my first MRI and quickly threw the words Cancer, MS, Myelomalacia, fluid near the spine and brain...neck arthritis....at me...without knowing for sure....scaring me to death. I go for 2 additional contrast MRI's, and EMG and now he wants another xray with another Spinal MRI in May without even speaking to me, without even the courtesy of a call back to explain and at least reassure me or confirm if there is something wrong.

I have the pleasure of using Dr. El Sharif for my elderly mother (86 years old; dementia, post stroke, and essential tremors) and my 21 year old son with high functioning autism. Dr. El Sharif has been wonderful with both of them. He listens to them, and he explains things thoroughly, in a very understandable way. He returns phone calls promptly, even returning one of my calls while he was on vacation. He is very knowledgeable regarding neurological disorders and we highly recommend him.
