Before surgery I'd been in a walker for 3 years, and was in severe pain, overweight and on pain meds. Dr Metwally was the only doctor who would do my surgery without making me lose the weight first. (It's a harder surgery on overweight people-- but he's just that good.) He said; "It is a quality of life issue." and boy was he right! I had both my knees replaced 12 years ago and everything still works great-- and still pain free. I cannot tell you how much that improved my life. One month after my first surgery I was able to return to water aerobics at the Y. One month after my second surgery I was riding my horse! I dance, exercise, build and work on the ranch without pain-- even after 12 years! Not only is he the best surgeon this side of the Rockies (check his credentials-- he was educated at the Mayo Clinic, for God;s sake) He -- and his staff-- are the nicest, kindest easiest folks to work with. I highly recommend them all!

I highly recommend Dr. Metwally. I had an anterior left hip replacement, and from my first visit to his office to my six-week post-op visit, I felt that the Dr. and his team listened to me and answered my questions. In the six weeks following my surgery, they continued to monitor my progress. The outpatient surgery at Grants Pass Surgery Center went extremely well, and I was grateful to be in my own bed that evening. It has now been seven weeks since my surgery, and I am in Mexico, walking, swimming and enjoying the benefits of a new hip. I would also be remiss if I didn't say that I enjoy Dr. Metwally's sense of humor, which is welcome when facing and recovering from a surgery.

Had severe hip dysplasia that complicated hip replacement surgery. Thanks to the skill and expertise of Dr. Metwally I ultimately came through the surgery with flying colors. Dr. Mentally is a little quirky, which I happen to like, but very professional in his approach and takes the time to deal with and answer any questions.

Prior to my total knee replacement surgery, I spend a year asking anyone I met or knew with a scar on their knee how their surgery went, which doctor they used/recommended and why. Again and again Dr. Metwally's name came up in these conversations. At my first visit I was impressed by the professionalism, courtesy and kindness every employee exhibited. Dr. Metwally and his staff treated me with respect throughout surgery prep, the surgery itself and all follow-up visits. Love my new knee!

I had one hip done a couple of years ago and loved the results, Dr. Metwally was recommended to me by that surgeon who had moved out of state. I am 8 weeks out of surgery and love this hip also. They are both perfect and I can enjoy life to the fullest once again. I am very happy with Dr. Metwally & his team, very personal and a great sense of humor.

From the moment that I walked into Dr. Metwally's office I knew that I'd come to the right place. I had visited 2 other doctors in regard to total knee replacement and this was the only doctor that provided a detailed explanation, options that I had, and took the time to answer my questions thoroughly. He and his staff provided excellent post-surgical care instructions and all went well. I highly recommend Dr. Metwally and Team.

At age 44, hearing that I needed total hip replacement was not exciting news. However, once I accepted this fact, I began searching for a doctor that met my goals of getting back out hiking and being in the outdoors. After three other visits to different surgeons, I decided to visit Dr. Metwally. From the moment Dr. Metwally walked into the room I felt at ease and confident in his abilities. I explained to him my goals and he reassured me that we could get there. He and his team were top notch f

I was referred to Dr. Metwally and had an anterior total hip replacement in April, 2017. My recovery took some time but I walked a lot and was so very excited that I could walk! After a few months I could go for long walks, which I love to do and continue to do each day! Before surgery I could not even walk a half block and I now walk about 4 miles almost every day. To walk again after years of lacking mobility has been such an incredible blessing! I am so appreciative of Dr. Metwally!
