Very Positive Rating for Doctor and Staff
My internal medicine doctor retired after over 30 years of taking care of all my needs. I tried the large “several doctor”groups, but that was not what I was looking for. I felt as if I had found a good replacement for my retired doctor the first time I had an appointment. I am new to this group, but Katie and Dr. Woods have been great! All the staff members are so friendly. If I have a problem, one call will get me help. Also, I have no problems in getting prescriptions filled. As an added plus, if I have go to the emergency room, someone always calls to check on me. As a senior citizen, this is super important.

Don't waste your time and money
The worst Dr office in central ga! No one in that office cares! If you have any issues with treatment and ask questions you will be dismissed from the practice! The staff is rude, I'm assuming from mistreatment of the Drs wife so there is always new staff. Im doing this so no one else has to waste time and money thinking you will have good care...you will not.

He has mismanaged my elderly moms care for years. Does not care. She has had allergic reactions to medications twice that he missed. Even put her back on one of them after she reacted. Dangerous care.

Jason Woods barely practices medicine. If you prefer dealing with nurses and being referred to specialists he is your man. If you want a doctor don't bother. There's no way for him to stay sharp or offer care with so little involvement. The staff does the work, but they have little supervision or organization. Mrs. Woods tries to take a hand which tends to make your problems worse. The whole thing is a mess. It is like playing the telephone game from when you were a kid, only some of the kids keep wandering off. The end result is quality of care about the same as a doc-in-the-box, just a little nicer. Call it an upscale doc-in-the-box.

Dr. Woods is offering Covid testing. His staff handled it very well. They take your insurance information or have a cash option. The nurse swabs your nose and you get the results the same day or within 20 minutes. We parked by their employee entrance and it could not have been easier. We asked about his practice and were given the information we were looking for. They do Covid testing for anyone not just his patients.

I am not sure who left these other responses, but I have been a patient for years and have never seen this side of Dr Woods or his staff. They almost always call me back same day or get me in same day if I ever need something. I have seen his NP and she is also great at listening to my concerns. His staff is very polite with Yes mam, No mam and seem to genuinely care about each patient. I am thankful that even though this is a busy practice they still take good care of me.

Dr. Woods is a very bad communicator and lacks any people skills. He brings a laptop into the room and barely focuses on the patient. He might be a smart man but he is not a good well-rounded doctor.

Dr brushed off all of my concerns and made me feel like it was all in my head. Did blood work but scheduled no follow up to discuss. I spent over an hour waiting for a 2 minute conversation, a rude nurse that didn't even take blood for the appropriate tests the dr said he was going to do and then basically insulted me when I asked her to go check with him. Then I left. No follow up, no help from the dr, nothing. I will not be back and will be getting a 2nd opinion with someone who will listen.
