Dr. Weirs is very understanding and knowledgeable. What I find most impressive is the amount of research he seems to do to keep well informed on methods of treatment and beneficial practices outside of prescriptions and allergy shots, from supplements to behavioral and lifestyle interventions. My experience with previous providers is they would drop my care when I didn't respond to their "typical" treatments. Dr. Weirs always seems to have new ideas on what else to work on, and I feel much more confident in his care.

I have been a patient of COEM for some 20 years and I am well pleased with the care and service provided by all of the Doctors and Staff. Dr Weirs has been my Environmental Physician during the last few years and I am very impressed with his personal concern relative to my problems. I live on a farm and am constantly exposed to chemicals including pesticides, fungicides and insecticides. His advice and an occasional visit to COEM Detox helps me control the adverse effects of agricultural chemical exposure. Thanks to Dr Weirs and Staff for a job well done and special thanks to Dr Lieberman for organizing and maintaining such a great medical facility!

Dr Wiers has been a valuable source for us in natural, integrative medicine for years. Without his expert knowledge as a leader in the field of environmental medicine, we’d be sick forever. Any time we need an appointment he is promptly available to us- often on the same day. We are so blessed as a family to have the COEM come into our lives as they all work as a team to bring us closer to optimal health. We came to COEM very sick and beyond help after severe toxic mold poisoning but through the years they have brought us periods of good health to get us back on track when we are not so well. Our entire family has unique needs but Dr Wiers is able to help us efficiently and with competent authority. He’s such a strong resource for us and the first go-to medical professional for all our needs. So often if/when we don’t feel well or we are not functioning well, the cause is always environmental. Traditional medicine could not do for us what the COEM has done. And for this we are forever

Dr. Weirs is extremely knowledgeable in the field of integrative/functional medicine. However, he just doesn’t present book-smart information, as he is able to integrate experience and the use of analogies to help with patient care. Dr. Weirs’ easy-going demeanor is calming, compounded with an outgoing personality to encompass a truly dedicated and compassionate physician.

Dr. Weirs is not just super caring, he is easy to talk to and puts you at ease. He doesn’t overwhelm you with too much treatment and maps out a plan for the future to try and get the best results. It isn’t easy dealing with someone who is reaching 50 and has had poor health for most of their life. He understands the frustration and the need for answers. He has a determination to see improvements in his patients.
