Dr Steptoe and his nurse are great! He listens and takes his time, never rushes a patient. I agree with someone else on here, the front staff are always rude...that is why my husband left and went to a different dr. But I will put up with the rude, hateful front staff.

Dr.Steptoe is wonderful, but this hats off goes to a nurse named Heidi. I called and was 10th in line to talk to a nurse when Heidi answered after after a prolonged period of time. I have to say she was fantastic and treated me with patience, respect, empathy and that my call was the most important task she would have to complete that day. This nurse is a keeper. Please give her a smile(and a raise!) Thank you,Heidi.

Dr Steptoe is absolutely wonderful!! When I go and see him he treats me as though I am his only patient. He never rushes me and will answer any and all questions Imay have. He is like this with everyone. A friend of mine referred me to him for the same reason and my sister in law who is in the healthcare field loves him as well. If he feels and issue needs to be addressed by a specialist the referral is made in a very timely manner.

He is not knowledgable in hypothyroidism. He doesn't know how to dose T3 Cytomel. Instead he gives very low dose and doesn't know that it must then be raised until you hit your sweet spot, as doctor's in the know. You must raise about every 5 days, but everyone is different. One must read their body to know when to raise the dose. You work up to your optimal dose and hold it there. So because he doesn't know this patient's run out of t3 before the next refill. The lab range is too wide.
