Dr. Smith is an excellent surgeon. He did a very complicated surgery on my neck and I'm told by everyone who's seem me since that he did a great job. However, follow-up is very difficult. It's hard to get through to make appointments. You'll get voicemail more often than not. The response time to fill prescriptions is about 6 -7 business days. If you see the PA you'll wait 2 hours or more. 2 hours, no exaggeration. They play movies to distract you while you wait. You can watch An entire movie.

The staff are the worst that I have ever experienced , they will not return phone calls or acknowledge them , they do the same for emails , when I finally sent a email to cancel surgery , they called back & gave all kind of excuses that phone system messed up , emails lost , I will not have a surgery at place where you cannot have contact if you are having problems , I have read past reviews & the is a problem that is going on.

I wouldn't recommend william smith to my worst enemy. I went in to have my scoliosis fixed, when i went into surgery my spine was curved but i stood straight when sitting or standing, after the surgery and now, i have an extremely obvious lean to my left side. I later learned he didn't finish the surgery. When i asked about my lean, he referred me to a chiropractor. I've had 2 shoulder surgeries as a result of this surgery, that was suppose to help me, and that's just fir starters. Stay away
