Dr. Schultz is a very fine doctor. His conservative approach has saved me from knee replacement for years in spite of my arthritis . He also saved my husband’s life last year by diagnosing bone cancer when two other doctors said it was just tendonitis. I’m very grateful!

I had my right knee replaced in March 2013, then my left knee replaced in August 2013 by Dr. Schultz. He was highly recommend to me. I was hesitant about having the surgery after hearing and reading so many stories about knee replacements that were extremely painful. There was minimal pain and I returned to work in six weeks. Dr. Schultz's skill and experience made this possible. I recommend him to everyone who needs knee replacement.

Dr. Schulz has performed knee surgery on me, and is an excellent surgeon as well as the kind of physician who cares for the total patient. He is easy to talk to, answers questions thoroughly without medical jargon, and is very sensitive to the patient’s expectations of treatment outcomes. I have complete confidence in his skills.

I put off getting hip replacement surgery for years. I am so glad that I was referred to Dr. Schultz. He is extremely competent as a surgeon and also very personable. I had my hip replacement surgery a little over 2 months ago - I had minimal pain and swelling and was up and walking the same day as surgery. I am amazed how well that I feel! In fact, I feel about 20 years younger!

I’ve already recommended Dr. Schultz to several of my friends considering a hip replacement. Dr. Schultz performed mine 5 weeks ago. I was out of the hospital on the same day, had great after-surgery support and am 100% as of today. I couldn’t speak more highly of Dr. Schultz, his staff, his protocols and his results. PS I may have to get my other hip done in a few years. You can already guess who I will call. ????

Efficient, friendly staff. Dr. Schultz is easy to talk to, listens closely, explains everything in layman's terms, & doesn't push for anything more than what you're comfortable with. Aftercare is explained precisely, & the importance of wound care & physical therapy is stressed for patient safety. I had an overall terrific experience w hip replacement w Dr. Schultz.

Highly recomend Dr. Schultz to anyone in need of joint replacement. It has just been a year since I had my left hip replaced. My recovery was very quick, actually I experienced very little pain and felt great right after the surgery. All my joint pain is gone and I now walk without limp. My surgery was a great success. Thank you Dr. Schultz.

Although I'm sure he is a great surgeon, he's also a great Dr who finds non-surgical solutions to health issues. I've had issues with both my knees and no surgeries. I feel great about my future prognosis.

I was so pleased with my knee surgery! Everything was done timely and I was informed ahead of time as to what would happen! My pain was controlled beautifully after surgery and at home. Therapy at the hospital and at home was excellent and then therapy with an outpatient therapist was seamless! I recovered quite easily and I am 80 years old! I just had my first year evaluation and my knee feels like I am 20 again! Kudos to this amazing surgeon! —Carolyn Wilson

If I could give Dr. Schultz a negative rating, I would. He effectively ruined my mother's life by putting a prosthesis below her knee that was far too big. Ever since then, she has had incredible pain. Other doctors say they can't fix it without risking loss of her leg. Further, she got MRSA while under his care. He ignored her complaints that she had an infection--and then she had to have emergency surgery after she started convulsing. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Very comfortable with his form of communication. He took his time in explaining what was going on with my health issues. It's reassuring to a patient that a physician has such concerns. These are the special characters of a caring person. I personally admire and respect this thoughtful and considerate doctor. I am very fortunate to have been given to him to continue my health issues. There are times when a patient begins to question if a doctor is really caring of a patient or is just at a job.
