He is board certified in general surgery with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and bariatric (weight loss) surgery. He earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, completed his general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and minimally invasive fellowship at Emory University. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
