My mom was a terminal sarcoma patient of Dr Read's before her ultimate passing in 2014. What I admired most about him was his bedside manner, always able to make her and I laugh, but mostly that he is a FORWARD THINKER. He kept the line of communication constantly open 24/7 and on more than one occasion even e-mailed us with some future treatment options he had been pondering. Those ideas were unsolicited and took place while he was on vacation, proving that his patients are always on his mind.

My wife Betty and I would like to thank Dr. Read for stopping her from going to an unnecessary chemo that was advised from another Oncologist. My wife lost about 30 pounds from 4 different operations. She was in two different hospitals from November 2017 to February 2018. Two previous Drs almost kill her. If she had chemo that Oncologist wanted her to have that would have turn to disaster, she's weak. Dr. Read Instead of chemo sent her for CT scan to see if there was any cancer. None was found

Dr Read has been taking care of me now for several years. I have great confidence in him. He demonstrates out of the box thinking and I sense he spends considerable time studying and analyzing my situation to offer the best balance of treatment with quality of life he can. He is very responsive (phone, text, email) and I believe he tries to help me in any way he can. He has sought other physicians for me for health areas that are outside of his specialty.

Dr. Read and I met when things didn't look to good for me. I left his office hopeful and informed about the cancer that I had and how we planned to attack it. Dr. Read has a great positive attitude and he takes time to explain what is going on and listen to you. Calls and emails are generally answered same day. Great doctor!

Dr. read is a pleasant and thorough doctor. He takes time with you to explain what is going on and what plans he has to attack the problems. He is also a very caring physician. He has a humorous side but takes time with his patients to make sure they understand. You can call or email him and he will contact you back and I can't do that with my preferred provider at my hometown clinic. Great Doctor
