I was supposed to have a surgery performed by Dr. Purtill the following day but when I called the office to confirm the day before they told me that my insurance was not covering the cost. The office works very hard to obtain authorizations for all procedures. Insurance companies especially do not like to authorize varicose vein procedures. Peer to peer reviews with the insurance company Doctors and written appeals are done for all denials. This process can take 2-3 months and rarely up to 6 months. Once we receive an answer we do our best to keep the patient informed. Unfortunately not all procedures get authorized even with this amount of due diligence.

I met dr.purtill 12-15-15.im in a wheelchair and have bad circulation in my feet, this dr. He.clearly took time to understand the problem and i was very happy with his solution. Feel he is a very good dr.
