I’ve used Dr. Prickett several times over the last 15 years. My condition has not required surgical intervention so I’ve just seen him for consultations and cortisone shots. This visit was for a follow up for shoulder issues. He was well prepared and had reviewed my history and previous MRIs and other imaging. He listened well to my complaint and my questions and provided his feedback. We had more dialogue that was well paced and thoughtful. Throughout, he provided insights and recommendations without forcing down my throat but still ensuring that I understood the consequences of pursuing the different options. At the end of the consult, I was pleased to find we were on the same page with regard to understanding of the issue, potential options, chosen option, and plan for follow up. I left well satisfied, convinced we had a good plan, that we understood each other, and that I was choosing the best option for me.

He is very knowledgeable & listened to what I had to say. He recommended the least invasive approach first; which I totally agree with. He referred me to physical therapy which was conveniently located in the same building as his office. If I don’t improve with the PT then he will refer me to one of the best neurologist’s here in Tucson. I have had the opportunity to see this neurologist before for another issue I had several years ago. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Prickett to anyone who needs orthopedic assistance!

Dr. Prickett is extremely personable and knowledgeable. I saw him for persistent knee pain. Dr. Prickett went above and beyond to take the time to make me feel like I understood what he was seeing in my X-rays, he carefully explained all of my options, and let me decide on the best course of action for me. He then skillfully administered an injection. I was extremely pleased with my experience with Dr. Prickett.

Dr. Prickett repaired my left rotator cuff in 2019 and it’s now good as new. He examined my right shoulder this last visit and ordered an MRI to confirm what he suspects is the cause of my pain. He is very thorough in his diagnoses, listens to his patients, and is a great surgeon.

Dr. Prickett was on time, efficient, and very approachable. He spent an appropriate amount of time with me and answered each of my questions. He is very engaging and obviously very knowledgeable. I chose to see him primarily based on his credentials, after which I read his excellent reviews. I am a physician myself, a fact not shared with him, and am very happy to have found him!

Dr. Pickett is a great listener, explains things in detail, he always makes sure you understand what he's explaining and he's an amazing surgeon. I had rotator cuff surgery 5 years ago. I have full range of motion again and no pain. I recently saw him for knee issues. I'm still just as pleased with his care. Minimal wait time to be seen. If doctor is running late you are notified by screen in lobby.
