Acted like my injury was like a rolled ankle. Waited and waited in his office room each time I went , for him to come In for 2 min and run out the door. Told me didn't need surgery. After 2 major back surgeries I'm feeling better . If you have back problems do your self a huge favor and go to St . Louis where the technology and DOctors are well more equipped and Professional. 18 screw /2 plates / 2 rods later. Thanks for nothing Payne .

I was referred to him by my Ortho Dr because he thought I needed surgery on my neck. Dr. Payne was rude and condescending to me. He slapped me on the back and said, you'll be ok big guy and that was it. I went else were and had the problem fixed. Not helpful at all.

I have never been so humiliated by a doctor, or anyone, for that matter in my entire life. The very first and only time I met him he belittled me bc I hadn't had any procedures before seeing him. My regular GP sent me to him. He asked why I was there. Then he went into a barrage of insults about my health. Cancer was found on my MRI and he called it a "blip". He made me feel awful that I started to cry. Even as I was crying, he continued to berate me. I was so humilated.
