This is the third post-op visit, since surgery 8 weeks ago. My recovery is well on it’s way to completion. Dr. Paterson is an excellent clinician. Follow-ups have been efficiently carried out and x-ray techs have been terrific. I always recommend this practice.

Dr. Paterson's communication style was straight-forward, clear, and caring. I also like the fact that my follow-up appointments were easy to schedule and done within his practice. I feel comfortable with my care plan and will continue to see Dr. Paterson. Lastly the triage nurse and his assistant were caring and professional. So far, contact with Dr. Paterson and the staff are going great.

I saw Dr Patterson as a new patient for a left shoulder injury. I was referred to him by an RN on his staff. I am a retired RN and if you want a good Dr ,ask an RN, is our motto. I was so pleased. Dr Patterson was terrific. He is calm, courteous and listened patiently. I feel that I took too much time, but I was anxious and in pain. He injected my shoulder in the exam room and I hardly felt it. He was very careful to numb the injection site and to mix the numbing Lidocaine with the steroid. I could tell that he was an expert in his field. Dr Patterson explained the different treatment options and side effects. I feel that I had an informed choice and left the clinic very satisfied. I highly reccommend Dr William Patterson and OrthoAz clinic.

Dr. Patterson is a great mix of inspiring confidence and kindness. He listens without rushing and makes you feel heard. He did a wide array of diagnostics maneuvers during my initial visit. He gave me a variety of potential next steps. I feel confident moving forward with his care. His M.A. was kind and welcoming too. I just really appreciated not feeling rushed! I mentioned my great scheduler during my visit and he made himself a note to find out who it was. :-)

Dr. Paterson took lots of time to discuss the issue with me. I didn't feel rushed even though I was at the end of the day. He was very patient and understanding. Great interpersonal skills, which is lacking in a lot of doctors these days.

Dr. Paterson took the time needed to explain my issue and I felt confident when leaving appointment that I had all my questions answered. I like how he focuses on the patient while someone else is taking notes during the exam.

I have had shoulder surgery on both shoulders, bilateral rotator cuff surgeries by two different surgeons and more or less a complete shoulder rebuild this time by Dr. Paterson which consisted of a labrum tear repair, a replacement of the biceps tendon with a cadaver tendon and rotator cuff repair again. I felt like the first two rotator cuff surgeries were done very well, but it took 13 mos. to rehab my rt. shoulder the first time (I am right handed), about 10 mos. for my lt. shoulder and even though I had a lot more work done this time (rt. shoulder again) I could get my arm up over my head after the first week. I had this surgery on Jan 10th. I will be finished with physical therapy next week and already about 80% back. Dr. Paterson did a fantastic job and I recommend him most highly.

I had a reverse shoulder replacement three months ago and I can't praise Dr. Paterson highly enough. I never felt rushed at the visits with him and he explained everything extremely well. The surgery itself was a total success and I am recovering a lot faster than I thought I would. He even left me with a very small scar, so thank you Dr. Paterson for that. I did a lot of research to find him and I am glad I did. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Paterson was thorough, explained alternatives clearly, and efficient. A five star doctor. OrthoArizone's processes are complex time consuming, defensive, poorly defined pieces of crap. It makes me wonder why a quality doctor would put up with such poor support of their practice. The box to check at the bottom of this page is a great example.

From check in to check out was done in a professional and timely manner. I enjoyed the doctors conservative approach. rather than administer drugs or a prescription as I have seen in the past with other doctors, he suggested PT and contact him in 5 weeks if things don't get better. If all is good at that time then we will be done. Also the girls at the front desk were very helpful and professional in light of the virus restrictions.
