First visit - listened to my pain issues. Took the time to do some exercises to gauge level of pain and dexterity. Came up with the next step quickly. Anxious to hear what the MRI results show so that we can work on getting my arm back to normal and without pain.

Difficult Rotator Cuff Surgery Kudos
I am 73 with 30 years military service. Many ortho-related injuries and treatments. Dr Mook has gifted hands and repaired 6 distinct Issues including dysfunctional biceps, tears, a shredded labrum ( socket), ruptured bursa, and bone spurs- all in one surgery, arthroscopically. I had been in severe level 10 pain, unable to sleep or function properly for over a year. He is the best ortho surgeon I’ve had the pleasure to know. I’d give him 10 stars if I could. On top of that, his bedside manner is impeccable. He’s friendly, not rushed and LISTENS.

Went in to get my wife cortisol shots in each shoulder for relief of arthritis pain Dr. Mook remembered the arthritis pain I have had over the past 18 months and asked how I was doing I told him terribly but can’t get a shot because I am having knee replacement surgery next week and Dr. Klein Dr. Mook said that a cortisol shot in the shoulder would not affect my knee surgery and would need my shoulder to help lift myself up and down after surgery. Then he went over and asked Dr. Klein if it was OK to administer the shoulder shot. He received the approvall Dr. is a caring doctor willing to take the extra step for his patients I highly recommend Dr. Mook In addition, everyone at Ortho Virginia is top notch - the doctors, nurses, check in and check out people, the billing people and the equipment people

Excellent Doctor/Orthopedic Suregon
My visits with Dr. William Mook are always great I went to see Dr. Mook yesterday because I fell in August 2021 and wanted to make sure my 2016 shoulder replacement was still okay. Dr. Mook's tech/nurse took an x-ray and my shoulder replacement is in great shape. I don't have pain and my range of motion is great. It gave me peace of mind. I trust and highly recommend Dr. Mook.
