Well-seasoned physician with decades of experience, knowledge and wisdom! He listens with patience and compassion...treating the patient holistically (not just one complaint). Healers with his passion and common sense are few and far apart these days! The new patient would do well to be prepared, enter into the healing process as an active participant, and be comforted in the fact that you're not "just another number" with Dr. McCord!

For two years I was misdiagnosed by Dr. McCord. I do not a doctor never did have fibromyalgia. I actually have a connective tissue disorder. At one point I had even asked him if this particular disorder was a possibility for me, and I was told no. When I saw a different doctor, it took her all of 15 minutes to examine every joint in my body and ask the questions needed to properly diagnose me. I will not be returning to Dr. McCord.

Dr. McCord is wonderful but, I must admit I think Emelda is the star of the show! Since my first visit with Dr. McCord I have been diagnosed and in treatment giving me full remission from life changing psoriatic arthritis. Today I went for my first hike in almost a year thanks to Dr. McCord. Something I have prayed for, and at one point was convinced I would never do again. I am so very grateful for the awesome care and treatment at Sky Lakes Rheumatology!
