Anesthesia Practice: Our practice uses a team model, which incorporates a medical doctor, and a CRNA (Cerftified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) as part of our collaborative anesthesia care team. The physician is responsible for the pre-anesthetic medical evaluation of the patient, prescription and implementation of the anesthesia plan, personal participation in the most demanding procedures of the plan (including induction and emergence), following the course of anesthesia administration at frequent intervals, remaining physically available for immediate treatment of emergencies and providing indicated post anesthesia care. This patient care model renders you the best care available by two skilled healthcare providers. Our physicians specialize in obstetric anesthesia, cardiac anesthesia using TEE (transesophageal echocardiography) and orthopedic/regional nerve blocks for postoperative pain management. Pain Medicine Practice: Central Wisconsin Anesthesiology is committed to providing quality, affordable, easily accessible care in our Pain Medicine Practice to our patients and to meeting the needs of our referring healthcare providers in the treatment of these individuals complex medical conditions.
