NCMA Family Medicine physicians also specialize in helping patients identify and manage chronic diseases including diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and arthritis.
To supplement the medical services offered, NCMA strongly believes that sustainable improvements in health are only achieved through thorough patient education and support. By providing access to a comprehensive understanding of an illness, NCMA has identified greater patient compliance to treatment and fewer complications and severity of illness. Patient education is provided on an individual basis by both physicians and nurse practitioners. Support groups for patients and family with chronic illness are an additional way that the NCMA Family Medicine staff supports its patients and families."
