TKR in July 2020 by Dr. Lighthart and his VOC team at Rutland Regional. Total success! It’s now October 24 and I’m certain that I will be skiing in a month. Good results for a 79-year-old man (me, not the doctor.) The hospital staff were all very professional, friendly and scrupulously clean. I live in Lake George NY and I am glad I made the one hour trip to RRH.

Was told moderately severe ostioarthritis in hip was the cause of severe sciatic pain when in reality, L5 disk was the actual issue. Set me back months getting the help I needed. ProPublica publishes $$ accepted from drug & medical suppliers. His take seems terribly high compared to my other docs.

So far so good, after three weeks from minimally invasive posterior total joint replacement of right hip. Driving, shopping, using only Tylenol for pain. I know it is going to take time and I don't expect to be really pain free for at least two more months. But every day I get a little bit stronger. I put this off for over three years and I really had to do it. No complaints. You see the PA a lot more than Dr. Lighthart but I'm sure that is the most efficient use of his time.

Dr Lighthart listened carefully me, offered good advice, and was genuinely concerned with the pain I was experiencing. I received two injections from him. This was done in a very practiced, careful way. At the end of the office visit, I was reminded to call with any concerns.
