Dr. Levine did a great job fixing my right shoulder. First six weeks were tough but after 3 months of PT it more or less regained full range of motion and was pain free. After two years other than the five small scars I wouldn't know that I had a massive rotator cuff tear. Dr Levine will fix my left shoulder soon.

Dr Levine is wonderful. He is obviously a hot shot surgeon. It’s only been 3 months since my rotator cuff surgery and I’ve seen steady improvement the whole time. There was never any terrible pain. He has been very engaged every time I’ve seen him; always making sure I understand what’s going on and what I need to do. Thank heavens I ended up with him. I’ve had many friends and colleagues who did not do as well.

Excellent Care
Dr. Levine diagnosed my condition after reviewing my MRI and performing a physical exam. He accurately diagnosed my condition within 15 minutes. He assured us that I would get better without surgical intervention as long as I participated in PT. As of today I have about 80% return of function in my left arm. I’m extremely grateful to Dr. Levine for his accurate and precise diagnosis.

World's best Orthopedist
Dr. Levine was absolutely fabulous. I had a non union of my clavicle which required meticulous surgery. I chose Dr. Levine because he has years of experience and is one of the top shoulder physicians in the US. I had a fantastic surgical result. Dr. Levine sewed me up with a plastic surgery technique and I have the faintest of scars. Dr. Levine was pleasant and professional. I truly have never met an Orthopedic physician with his level of skill and ability to connect with patients. As an added plus, his nurse, Adrianna was always available to answer questions. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Levine and his staff and highly recommend him.

I have complete trust in Dr. Levine. He will soon perform a repair on my left shoulder. Years ago, he repaired an even worse injury to my right shoulder which involved multiple complete and massive rotator cuff tears. As I told him recently, I now think of that shoulder as better than how it was when I was born, thanks to him. With the current injury, he diagnosed it immediately upon exam and the MRI thereafter fully confirmed the diagnosis. I unreservedly give him the highest possible rating.

Dr. Levine was obnoxious and behaved like he is the center of the universe. His moral values are low. I did not get help I needed. Later I found a less managerial doctor with few years of experience. He just made an injection in my knee and regular arthritic pains disappeared. I do not recommend Dr. Levine.

I had continued pain after a shoulder surgery by another Ortho. After a year, I finally went to Dr Levine for help. He did a fantastic job repairing my Right shoulder (Rotator cuff and bicep)! This was 9 years ago. Now I have an issue with my left shoulder after i recently broke my collar bone from a fall (onto my shoulder) and immediately wanted to go back to the best and and trusted practice for my second opinion. getting an MRI tomorrow so we will see where we go from there. whatever the recommendation I am confident I am in good hands with Columbia Orthopedics.

From my first visit to evaluate my shoulder injury to the final surgery and the post-surgical visits, I found Dr. Levine to be highly competent, extremely thorough in communicating the findings to me in layperson’s terms. I was very comfortable going into the surgery knowing that I was in the hands of such a capable surgeon. Post-surgical visits were short but valuable in communicating critical information for recovery. I could not have found a better surgeon for my rotator cuff surgery.
