Dr. Kuhn's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Kuhn "Dr. Kuhn is a board-certified neurosurgeon who offers advanced treatments for spinal disorders. He was the first neurosurgeon in Central Florida to perform a lumbar artificial disc surgery and is the only neurosurgeon in the Daytona Beach area performing cervical artificial disc surgery. Although he specializes in complex surgery of the spine, he also performs aneurysm clipping, treatment of intracranial hemorrhages, placement of shunts, and resection of brain tumors. Dr. Kuhn received his medical degree from the University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and did a surgical internship at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown. To complete his medical training, he did his neurosurgical residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Additionally, he participated in specialized surgical rotations at the Barrow Neurologic Institute in Phoenix and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. In November 1990, he opened his practice in Daytona Beach. Today he continues the practice of neurosurgery as an employee of Halifax Health and performs all surgeries in their facility. He is an active member of the trauma team and has previously served on the Trauma Review Committee as well as the Critical Care Committee. He and his family reside in Ormond Beach."

I went to see Dr Kuhn with my MRI. I felt he took a good amount of time explaining everything to me and giving me options to choose. I was very comfortable with him and deciding whether to get the surgery or wait.
