Went to see Dr. Hunter with extreme pain down both legs and hips. I could only walk with great difficulty. Diagnosed degenerative spinal stenosis. After several more conservative treatments failed to give me relief, we decided on surgery. I had the surgery on April 17, 2017. I am now pain free, have resumed all my normal activities, and am able to play with my grandchildren again. I am very grateful to Dr. Hunter and all of his staff.

I had Arterial Fusion on my neck 6 months ago and am in worse pain than before the surgery. Also the surgery damaged my asophagus and cannot be repaired. I also now have 2 more disc rupture just above where I had surgery and he states I "should not have any pain, one of my screws is loose and the plate has moved causing constant choking and breathing problems. I guess he thinks I'm lying, I am so depressed now and would never let him preform another surgery on me and would never recommend.

He assured me id feel immediate relief, & be back to work in 2-3 weeks. I came out feeling worse than I did before the procedure. As soon as I woke up,I immediately broke down, because the pain was so intense. The sciatic pain was unbearable! All he'd say was "this doesn't make any sense.Ive never had this happen before. All my patients have felt immediate relief". (Which was a lie!) 2 yrs later,I still cant work. My last follow up,he didnt even see me. He sent the nurse to dismiss me.

Speedy Gonzales..... 5 to 10 minutes and he's out of there. Bedside manner is zilch if that kind of thing bothers you. He's an excellent surgeon but don't expect him to hold your hand. No empathy for patients..... just his personality I guess.
