Dr. Healy is an excellent doctor. He has helped me through many injuries and some surgeries. I hope he stays in practice a long time. I do not like having to see a PA when I schedule an appointment to see him. I will make sure he and only he sees me unless it is an emergency.

He is very busy and thus in a hurry to get you in and out with little time to ask questions or inquire as to treatment options.

I had a total knee replacement in May, 2016. Dr. Healy always takes his time with me and answers my questions. I like him tremendously. He came to Huntington Hospital every day after the operation. It's been a success but the rehab and PT is quite difficult.I usually wait about 15 minutes to get in to see him. That's better than my GYN. The staff is very sweet and caring. I highly recommend him.

I have had Dr Healy for shoulder surgery, wrist surgery, and most recently, a full hip replacement. I now need a shoulder replacement, which Dr Healy does not do. Since this is a very specialized, complicated surgery I am working with him to define what procedure will be need and get recommendations for an appropriate surgeon. He was excellent with the three surgeries I had done. I found him focused and attentive to my needs and questions. Office visits seem to be quicker in the past six months.

I would not recommend Dr Healy. He is abrupt, does not return calls and totally disengaged. His post op care is terrible- does not consult on additional test results after sending me for sonogram. His on call doctor was not available, yet on call for Dr Healy. I get the sense that the office staff is frustrated with him as well.

Although he is a good surgeon be prepared to wait at least an hour for every appointment. Unacceptable

was recommend to see him he was straight foward what i needed took several xrays at different angles to make sure we set up the surgeys has it done 4 months ago i fell so much better now i am very thankful for having him do my surgery and he has an incredable staff that works for him thank you all very much

He was absolutely amazing! I had shoulder surgery done on a Tuesday morning and had 75% mobility Thursday. I was also off of the Percocet given to me by that same Thursday. I have read done of the comments and I do agree that you can be waiting a very long time, but that's a small price to pay to have an exceptional job done. As far as bed side manner highly overrated if the job is done right.

My 13 year old son broke his ankle. We made an appointment, waited 90 minutes and Dr. Healy spent 3 minutes looking at an X-ray we brought with us. He sent us to another office to get a walking boot. My son couldn't put any weight on his ankle. I wasn't comfortable with Dr. Healy's diagnosis or plan of care. I got a second opinion the new day and my son was hard casted and spent 3 months in a cast. We had a horrible experience with Dr. Healy. We did receive a large bill for his 3 minutes.
Very quick accurate diagnosis Dr. Healy is very nice and it was a short waiting time
My daughter broke her wrist, he was the only orthopedist in our area that took our insurance. In his effort to make as much money as he can, he over-books his appointments and patients are forced to wait an hour or more with inadequate seating in the waiting room. He is also rude and has absolutely no bedside manner. I am writing this review as I sit in his waiting room for 1 1/2 hours. Normally, if walk out. However, we are here to get my daughters cast off and are forced to wait.
