I would not recommend Dr Healy. He is abrupt, does not return calls and totally disengaged. His post op care is terrible- does not consult on additional test results after sending me for sonogram. His on call doctor was not available, yet "on call" for Dr Healy. I get the sense that the office staff is frustrated with him as well.

Although he is a good surgeon be prepared to wait at least an hour for every appointment. Unacceptable

was recommend to see him he was straight foward what i needed took several xrays at different angles to make sure we set up the surgeys has it done 4 months ago i fell so much better now i am very thankful for having him do my surgery and he has an incredable staff that works for him thank you all very much

He was absolutely amazing! I had shoulder surgery done on a Tuesday morning and had 75% mobility Thursday. I was also off of the Percocet given to me by that same Thursday. I have read done of the comments and I do agree that you can be waiting a very long time, but that's a small price to pay to have an exceptional job done. As far as "bed side manner" highly overrated if the job is done right.

My 13 year old son broke his ankle. We made an appointment, waited 90 minutes and Dr. Healy spent 3 minutes looking at an X-ray we brought with us. He sent us to another office to get a walking boot. My son couldn't put any weight on his ankle. I wasn't comfortable with Dr. Healy's diagnosis or plan of care. I got a second opinion the new day and my son was hard casted and spent 3 months in a cast. We had a horrible experience with Dr. Healy. We did receive a large bill for his 3 minutes.

Fabulous. I was misdiagnosed by another Hunington Orhopedic surgeon. #1 Dr. said I had a sore muscle.I said it feels just like the torn meniscus in my other knee from 5 years ago. My primary care doctor and the orthopedic surgeon were arguing about me having an MRI which i finally got.Dr. Healy diagnosed it and I was RIGHT. He operated successfully to repair.. Highly rec.
Very quick accurate diagnosis Dr. Healy is very nice and it was a short waiting time

My daughter broke her wrist, he was the only orthopedist in our area that took our insurance. In his effort to make as much money as he can, he over-books his appointments and patients are forced to wait an hour or more with inadequate seating in the waiting room. He is also rude and has absolutely no "bedside manner". I am writing this review as I sit in his waiting room for 1 1/2 hours. Normally, if walk out. However, we are here to get my daughters cast off and are forced to wait.
