Disappointed
Dr Hage did not show me my x-ray and did not explain what my condition would look like going forward. He dismissed my condition (apparently its not interesting if its not operable). He put me in a very expensive boot that I could not use (ever) despite the fact that a much cheaper option would have been better. His staff (despite telling me that I could return it) would not only not let me return it and also would not call me back to discuss. Would not recommend anyone use that practice when there are many more to choose from in this area.

Office visit for knee pain
Dr. Hage explained with clarity my knee condition based upon their x-rays, and discussed treatment options (steroid inj. & PT) & some possible lifestyle changes. We discussed my health history that would preclude any future surgery. He was thorough, answered my questions & his staff was very professional. I can highly recommend Dr. Hage & the Apex facility.

Thank goodness he is thorough!
I started the possibility of having a shoulder replacement several months earlier in another city we lived in before we moved to Raleigh. I was just about ready to schedule surgery before we decided to move. That surgeon was ready to do an anatomical replacement. Once we got settled in Raleigh and my shoulder demanded to be my priority, I saw Dr. Hage. He ordered a different scan and discovered that I needed a reverse replacement instead of an anatomical. If I had had the replacement done in my former city I would have been in the surgical suite with the wrong prosthesis. I am extremely grateful to this surgeon.

This is my second time seeing Dr.Hage and all the wonderful people at Emerge Ortho. They are amazing. I have complete and total confidence in my diagnosis and the treatment I received. Dr. Hage and the staff are knowledgeable and professional , but they take time to listen to their patients . You never feel rushed. You can book your appointment on line and they get you in very quickly. Dr. Hage and his staff are the best of the best in my book!

Dr Hage communication skills and bedside mannerisms are great! He listened to my concerns for right knee. My case is complex , but he was willing to listen , and come up with a plan for treatment. While running a little behind schedule, he did not give me the feeling that he was rushing through my visit. Thanks for caring Dr. Hage.

With my first visit with Dr.Hage, I was a little nervous due to the fact I did not know ether diagnosis for that was contributing to the pain in my right shoulder. Just his personality and professional empathy quickly put me at ease. He has tremendous and wonderful bedside matter and I know I will be in very good hands before, during and after the surgery. Although the diagnosis was a little worse than I had suspected, Dr, Hage was very understanding and took the time necessary to explain the results of the MRI as well as the surgery itself. I will gladly recommend Dr. Hage to anyone needing the same or similar type of surgery.

Dr Hage did a reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder which was eaten up with arthritis and even the physical therapists were amazed by how quickly I recovered and how much I could do after 6 weeks my motion and pain level were off the charts. In my opinion Dr Hage is an excellent surgeon and I would happily recommend him too my friends and family for any reason
