What People Say About Dr. William Gilmer, MD
Reply
I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Gilmer and spent 18 months struggling under his care to treat mild depression. He was convinced I was bipolar (I am not and my new psychiatrist confirms this) and insisted on trying one failed drug after another. None treated my depression and all brought troublesome side effects. I found him to be rigid, insensitive to my concerns about meds and their side effects, and generally narrow minded. I now have a capable psychiatrist who is fixing all that he did.
