Dr. Garside repaired torn meniscus in my knee. Everything went very smoothly. He and his staff did a great job.
Nashville, TN |
Found this physician's blase' manner disconcerting when he suggested that I might just have to live with the post surgical discomfort. Went to a different surgeon for a second opinion and have since had the surgery redone successfully by him. Enough said .
Murfreesboro, TN |
Very rude, didn't take enough time explain or listening. No solution given. Feel like I was never been there.

I came to him complaining of shoulder. Seriously painful. I had an MRI and Dr. Garside told me had a perfect shoulder. That's a good thing. I was upset though that I couldn't identify the source of my pain. Dr. Garside had a future treatment plan even though he had to give me bad news about not exactly knowing where my pain originated. My tears couldn't have helped. His office set me up with a spine doc. He IS a great orthopod.
Murfreesboro, TN |
Dr. Garside performed ACL surgery on my 18 year old daughter last year. She is now at the U.S. Air Force Academy participating in all types of sports and athletic endeavors. We were very pleased with his care, bedside manner was relaxed, pleasant and thoughtful. He did an outstanding job explaining the surgery, PT, and follow up care was excellent as well. She has made a full recovery and is back to enjoying her life with a great knee! The staff at TOA is top notch. Excellent care!!!!
Nashville, TN |
Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. He is more concerned with keeping favor with the insurance companies than caring for his patients. I am worse off then before I had my surgery and he has a messiah complex and feels he can do no wrong. I am containing my true anger.
in Nashville, TN |
I am a former worker's comp. patient. My experience was horrific. Rude, arrogant, and demeaning, he made me feel stupid, trivial and ultimately so uncomfortable, I had to get another doctor (I wasn't given a panel to choose from as it was an emergency situation). Any complaints I had he dismissed and displayed his absolute annoyance at, when lo and behold - one of the 2 pins used during my surgery was in fact sticking in one of my tendons causing all the pain. Do I really have to give 1 star??
