Philadelphia, PA |
We had a great experience with Dr. Emper with my daughter last Spring so the only option was to come back to Dr. Emper at Rothman when I injured myself.

All good! Dr. Emper and his team have been excellent.
Narberth, PA |
He botched my acl surgery and then for 6 months afterward continued to pretend the knee was fine. Within 5 minutes doctor number 2 told me I needed to have it done again. The pain the went along with it was excruciating compared to the second surgery. He is completely incompetent!
Dear Patient, We are truly sorry for your experience and would love to speak with you directly to gather more detail. If interested, please contact us directly at 267-339-3689. Sincerely, Rothman Institute
Phoenixville, PA |
Dr Emper repaired both my meniscus and my rotator cuff over a three year period. Both surgeries went well without any problems and he accurately explained what to expect during my rehabilitation. I was able to fully return to my normal workout and race schedule and have not experienced any subsequent problems.

Competent, confident, well regarded, believable, trusted. I wouldn't have chosen anyone else to do two knee replacements.

Dr. Emper is the most wonderful Orthopedic Surgeon I have experienced concerning my knee replacement. I was very nervous, Dr. Emper always made me feel secure in this Surgery. He has a way about him, any Family member would adore. Dr. Emper is most patient. I guess even though a Surgeon should be #1, patience is a great quality. I would not think for a half a second about returning to Dr. Emper. I have seen him many times after Surgery, just for a checkup for my other knee. Don`t hesitate!!
Ideal service and care

I believe Dr. Emper to be an competent Orthopedic surgeon who quite frankly knows what he is doing. I find Dr. Emper to be somewhat reserved during visits but always listens and recommends what he thinks is in my best interest.
