Dr. Choi and the other physicians in his office are top notch. The problem i have repeatedly had is with their scheduler. I literally had to call five days in a row to get a CT authorization sent in which Dr. Choi requested be done ASAP. Even after my insurance company approved the request in two hours, it took three days for the scheduler to get the authorization over to the imaging center. This is ridiculous and completely inappropriate.

    Excellent surgeon!
    in Lakewood, CO |
After over 4 years with Kaiser, several facet injections, ablasions, oxy etc. we went to Dr Choi. Immediately (first visit) he recognized that my severe long lasting leg numbness and pain was due to problems with L 1, 2, and 3. He scheduled a lamonectomy to halt the progression of leg atrophy and resolved all of my leg issues with that one operation. He was then able to operate and fuse L4 & L 5, 6 months later. This included a realignment of over a centimeter, I am now pain free. Love him.

After a failed surgery elsewhere, I was referred to Dr. Choi for more complex procedures. These included L4-5 and L5-S1 redo of bilatoral decompressive lamintomies, L5-S1 TLIF with BKM peek cages and L4-S1 fusion. These procedures were carried with great skill and care by Dr. Choi and having previously suffering 9 months of almost constant and extreme pain I immediately became comfortable and have remained out of pain ever since. I am very grateful to Dr. Choi for his excellent work.

Dr. Choi performed spinal fusion surgery on me. I think he is avery talented surgeon. He is a caring man. He and his PA work well together.
    in Denver, CO |
He was highly recommended by my Physical Therapist. Rather than see him I had to see a Physician Asst. or a nurse practitioner and didn't see Dr Choi so I don't know the answer to the folling questions. Was referred to a pain doctor who I complained about. The Phys. Asst. seems to be someone easy to get along with.
Misdiagnosis of failed spinal fusion. Rude behavior when confronted of error and dropped me as a pacient when he didn't like what I said about his and staffs errors
