I love Dr. Bose for a Doctor I have had a few surgeries about 6 are seven. My last surgery was in May of this year 2016 . The only difference in this surgery and the others is I haven't seen Dr. Bose since May I have only seen Mike and I complained with severe pain and seen on to where these parts have that problem. On Nov. 23,2016 I went to see about meds and the nurse sent receptionist to lobby and talk my medical information in front of other people waiting on a patient . This has been twice.

Well I am torn about this. I had a pretty surgery , but had basically no contact with the Doctor at all. He seemed not to want to have any conversation with me. He never told me anything. The only information I received was from nurses. His bedside manner is nil. So I'm not sure what the issue is, but I am compelled to write.

I am very pleased to have Dr. Bose as my doctor. I met him about 2 1/2 years ago due to problems with my right hip after surgery that was performed by another doctor. Dr Bose did a total hip replacement and my surgery went perfectly without any complications. My recovery time was minimal. Then on Dec 1,2015, I had to have a total knee replacement due to RA., and I choose Dr Bose to perform the surgery. As expected, everything went perfectly! Love this doctor and his team. I will use them again.

I was transferred to Dr. Bose when my usual Dr. became ill and closed his practice. I needed another surgery. Dr. Bose's office made the transfer, paperwork and surgery with absolutely no problems or inconvenience on my part. All of his office staff who had contact with me were very friendly and respectful to me. I felt as though I had been their patient for years. My only complaint: difficult to speak to a person by phone and menu does not have an option for what I need which would be other.

Dr Bose is an awesome Doctor. I was seeing another doctor but my knee kept getting worse. Got approval to change Doctors. Was blessed enough to get Dr Bose. He did a partial knee replacement and changed my life. I told him today the knee he worked on is like gold to me. Thank you Dr Bose for giving my life back.He and his staff treat you like a member of the family. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Dr. Bose says...

I am very fortunate that most of my reviews are good, and over 99.5% of the patients I see like me and my office staff.  They are grateful and are happy with what I can do for them.

However, doctors are easy targets to complain about.  It is easy for anyone to anonymously write a bad review about a doctor, they don't even have to put their name.  Some of these patients have psychological issues.

I think that is unfair to the doctor and is a disservice to other patients.  Some doctors may have great reviews, but are not very good doctors.

However, in my experience bad reviews come in 3 varieties:

The patient feels they weren't treated right or the doctor was rude.  Most often this is not true, just a miscommunication.  Perhaps they feel the wait was too long.  Sometimes patients have complaints that cannot be verified by physical exam or any test.  Sometimes the doctor must tell them something they do not want to hear or believe, and the patient becomes angry. And sometimes, some people just can't be pleased by anyone or any doctor just are angry at the medical system.

The patient is angry because they DEMANDED NARCOTICS and did not receive them.  I don't mind giving pain pills when appropriate, but I cannot continuously give out narcotics or other controlled substances (by the DEA) without a really good reason.  When I refuse, patients write a bad review.

The patient has a complication from surgery.  Unfortunately, ALL SURGERY has the potential for a bad result or complication.  It is rare, but IT DOES HAPPEN.  I NEVER want anyone to have a complication, or bad result, but I am not God, and these things sometimes happen.  ALL patients are informed of the risks prior to surgery.

I have one patient on this site that sustained a partial nerve palsy after surgery.  She knew that a nerve injury is a rare but possible complication after hip replacement surgery.  I did nothing wrong during the surgery, but now she DEMANDS THAT I PAY her $2 million dollars or she will continue to write bad reviews.  I hate that she has this issue, but I have done over 3000 hip replacements without that complication.

OK, she has the right to complain, but is it right for her to try to EXTORT money????  You tell me.
