Doctor William Boleman specializes in patients dealing with asthma, allergic diseases, and immunodeficiencies. He is well trained in dealing with both children and adults in these areas. In addition, Dr. Boleman has interests in the areas of allergy immunotherapy, food allergies, as well as asthma. Due to his passion for these subjects, Dr. Boleman has published in these various areas and presented at local and national functions. Additionally, Dr. Boleman is a member of the Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and participates as a fellow for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to his career as an allergist, Dr. Boleman joined the United States Air Force. It was here that he earned a scholarship and attended the University of South Carolina where he earned his medical degree. Shortly after, he joined Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi where he completed his residency in Pediatrics. Streamlining from this part of his education, Dr. Boleman spent the next five years of his career practicing general pediatrics in the Air Force. He then joined the Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, where he completed a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology. For the following 11 years, Dr. Boleman practiced as an allergist for the Keesler Medical Center as the Chief of Allergy, Immunology, and Immunizations before retiring as a Colonel for the Air Force. Additionally, Dr. Boleman took part in the Internal Medicine Residency Program where he served as the Residency Director for Pediatrics as well as an educator. Passionately, he took on the role headstrong for two years prior to the program's dissolution. His passion and dedication to help make other persons' lives happier and healthier are the qualities that have driven Dr. Boleman to excel in all areas of his practice.
