Lovely man, lousy surgeon is my experience. Dr. Ballard initially treated me with periodic injections but it became obvious that I was no longer getting any relief from that. He did orthoscopic surgery but that did nothing although I appreciated his conservative approach. Ultimately, he sugested bilateral knee surgery which I had in April 2017. Unlike many people I never fully recovered and experienced a tightness, heaviness, and pain in both knee replacements. So, he did orthoscopic surgery again to remove scar tissue but this too offered no improvement. I have felt like I will have to live with chronic knee pain and limited activities. Since then, in going through multiple PT attempts to regain more strength, flexibility and lesson the pain, I learned from other patients, and from several PT's that Dr. Ballard's patients require Revision surgery more than any other local orthopedic surgeon in Chatt...my experience is consistent with that. Nice man, factory style surgeries.

Dr. Ballard is an extraordinary orthopedic surgeon but more important a spiritual man of God. The office staff is great. Everyone is professional & kind. This practice is an example for other large practices to emulate. It didn't happen overnight but they are the best.

Dr. Ballard did total knee replacement on my husband and a hip replacement on myself. He is an awesome dr. Love the fact that he prays with you before surgery and gives thanks to God after surgery. My husband and I had very good results and were told by numerous PT that Dr. Ballard's patients always have great success. Dr. Ballard and his staff are with you throughout the process and are always a phone call or email away. Always willing to answer any questions or concerns. Highly recommend Dr. Ballard and the orthopedic center .

Dr. Ballard is the best! Not only a great doctor with skills to treat patients but a good person. He is straight up about treatment. You know and understand what’s going on with your condition. He is as concerned about cost and insurance coverage as any patient is. I’ve had 3 knee surgeries and by far this was the best experience I’ve had with my doctor. If anyone ask me about him all I can say is he’s a 10 in my book! God Bless

My first appointment was after a weekend with snow and rain so the office was packed, but they kept 40+ people in order and worked very efficiently to get everyone in as best they could. I loved the time that each person took with me as I worked through the process of being seen from the intake desk to seeing Dr. Ballard. Feeling as if you have finally been heard is a real blessing and although the tough work is to come I know the team they have will be there cheering me on. I would recommend them highly to anyone with pain in their joints that don’t allow them to enjoy life to the fullest!

Outstanding, excellent surgeon and amazing individual. Dr Ballard replaced both of my knees with total knee replacement ninety days apart. I’m seventy one years old and I can now walk like a young man. Dr Ballard is caring individual and surgeon I am grateful for his time and talent and very proud to call him my friend. I have seen over 200 patients of Dr. Ballard’s through the years as a home health PT. I always said that if I needed an orthopedic procedure performed, Dr. Ballard would do it. My visit with him was what I expected. Interest, friendliness and concern. The procedure has not been done yet but I expect excellent results.
