I went to Dr. William Acker to address a Torn Rotator cuff.He recommended PT first to see if that would relieve my pain/mobility issues.In otherwords he didn't rush into surgery.I did eventually need surgery but the PT before surgery helped my muscles get ready for post op PT process.
