Incompetent does not even begin to describe him. He has no clue whatsoever what he is doing and in the meantime he keeps on damaging people. I am shocked how he is still allowed to pratise.

I had the worst and scariest experience with Doctor Lara. When I went to his office I could see 20/20; I went to a simple procedure and that was the last day I could see from my eye. I lost 80% of my vision because of his inability to perform a simple surgery. He damaged me for life.

Definitely not a good experience. Do not recommend this doctor at all. He is simply not knowledgeable and puts you at risk.

Doctor Lara is an excellent doctor who really cares about his patients, he attends the phone himself when you have a concern and that's something hard to see in a doctor this days,he takes his time with you and explains everything very well. He is very experienced and know what he is doing and makes it easier for you to understand. He saved my eye I could barely see, thanks to his treatment I was able to get my vision back. His staff is excellent, very competent and friendly. Best office ever.

Best doctor in Miami....5-star reviews, the doctor and his staff have been extremely helpful to me. Despite having a busy practice, I’m almost always able to schedule an appt and not wait for long hours. I have Retinal problems and my treatment is with shots..I use to go to another practice with other doctor and when I move to see Dr.Lara I stated with him... He has a soft hands you can even feel the shot..the health environment is really professional...I recommend him and his staff 100%

Dr. Lara is an amazing doctor that treats patients with professionalism and outstanding care. He was very patient and thorough answering all of my questions. He performed laser surgery on my eyes with no discomfort. His staff is very friendly and organized.. Fantastic team approach. Truly a great experience. Thank you Dr. Lara!

The doctor and his staff are very nice but the wait is unbearable. Patients have over 3 hours of wait time to be seen by the doctor. I was with my mother, who is the patient, and she along with about 6 other elderly patients waited 3 1/2 hours (from the 10am appointment until1:30pm) for the follow up review of her condition. She is not a new patient.
