I have used Dr. Smeal for various rehabilitation's at Lakeside Wellness Center. I have always appreciated how he takes the time to explain the problem, the treatment & the goals he has for me. His kindness and listening skills add up to a good bedside manner is an added plus to how very competent he is. I recommend him highly!

I just started seeing Dr. Smeal. I have an auto accident injury from a couple of years ago. The last Dr I saw only seemed interested in always talking about legalities of my case, rather than about helping my injuries. It left me with hurried, depthless exams & poor rapport. He treated me as if I only wanted a money claim from my lawsuit, versus actually wanting PAIN RELIEF and answers!! I've only had one visit with Dr Smeal so far, but he has started me on PT & dry needling. I hope it helps.

Dr Smeal is undoubtedly one of the worst doctors I've seen in my life. I was sent to see him for my back injury and he said I would be healed in a month, so I took a job that was going to start after that time and then he was upset I didn't take a desk job instead of a job I wanted that was slightly more physical. The rest of the appointments were him huffing and rolling his eyes at me and interrupting after answering a question and simply not listening. months later and I'm still not better.

At the request of my injured friend, I met with my friend who was being seen by Dr. Smeal for an initial physical examination after an auto accident resulting in my friend's bodily injury. Dr. Smeal has a phenomenal bedside manner, has great listening skills, asks all the right questions in a proper manner, and has an uncanny ability to explain the complexities of the human body in terms that a layman like myself and my injured friend can readily understand. Dr. Smeal is exemplary and caring!!

My experience with Dr. Smeal and his staff was excellent. Dr. Smeal is a very comfortable doctor to be with. He listens; takes his time to make sure that I was comfortable and understood what I was trying to tell him about my back condition. I would recommend him to anyone seeking to obtain relief from back problems
