She is rude uncaring. If you have questions about your health she belittles you, her agenda or nothing. She puts you on a heart med for thyroid and can't manage it after that. If you are hyer and decline RAI she's not wanting to treat you after that. I've learned more from a FB group than her. Hoyt is great however. He may be the only one in office that has compassion and a clue.

I would not recommend the Diabetes and Endocrine Center of Orlando. I really wanted to like this provider as I spent a lot of time trying to find and endocrinologist. Upon my first visit with the physician, I left feeling like a number, not someone who had just come out of cancer treatment and had a lot of questions. They have Predatory billing practices, are unavailable to answer phones, and on two occaisons, scheduled appointments for me that I didnt' make.

First visit, referred from PCP. Excellent! Filled out paperwork from website before visit, scheduled 2:45, taken back at 2:40, say Dr. Huhn at 3:00. She spent enough time with me to make me confident in the care I will receive. They have their own lab across the hall, phlebotomist was ready for me when I entered. Very good at drawing blood. Finished in 5 min. 1st appt. paper work, Dr. visit, labs, and done by 3:30...Perfect.

Excellent Doctor and staff. Staff was beyond exceptional.

HORRIBLE staff running her office. They do not care a lick about the patients. They were not willing to work with me on my insurance or ANYTHING for that matter. Rudest staff I have ever come in contact with!!!!!
Winter Park, FL |
The staff was horrible and not worried about the health of the patients. They were rude and unhelpful and did harm to me. I would never go there again or recommend to anyone!! I have never been treated so badly!

Worst receptionist attitude ever. I'm so sorry I seem like I'm wasting your time. The excuse of you being "new" for your lack of knowledge and attitude is unacceptable. It's people like her that makes us want to spread the word not to go here. It's a shame. There are certain ways to handle yourself and I suggest another profession if you can't deal with people.

I had been a patient of Dr. Huhn for the past couple of years. I had never been a huge fan, but my visits served their purpose. On my last visit, I was trying to explain a problem I was having with my prescriptions. She cut me off 3 times and then told me to stop talking because she knew how to do math. She is rude. The turnover in her office is high because the staff can't stand her either (which they have told me on many occasions...very unprofessional). Do not go here!

I recently received a letter where she stated that her practice can no longer provide for my needs. I was totally off guard on this other than knowing recently I discussed my Transgender status. Of which she was very uncomfortable with. I was a patient of hers since the early-mid 1990's.
She is ok...nice. Since I continued to feel unexplained symptoms and was looking for answers, I returned for a 2nd visit even though my blood test were ok a year ago. But based on her demeanor and angle of questioning I felt that she seemed annoyed that I had returned for a second visit. I just didn't feel that she was that concerned about helping me figure out what was going on with me. It made me uncomfortable.

Would recommend this office to anyone. Caring, smart Doctor with a great sense of humor.
