As a healthcare provider myself, I really appreciated Dr. Boynton's level of care. Not only did she do a very good job with my procedure, but her follow-up was top-notch (readily available to answer questions and follow-up phone calls). Once my diagnostic tests came back, she listened to my concerns and took them into consideration to help figure out what treatment was best based both on my diagnosis as well as my history and preferences. She's also very personable. Highly recommend.

Terrible doctor. Took her 6 weeks to give me the results of a normal biopsy. Called office multiple times but she never called. I finally got to talk to her medical assistant and she was very nice and told me the reports and she told me Dr. Boynton had told me about it on the note but she never did. No apologies at all. I'm glad everything was normal but she should understand that patients are worried about their results. This lady has no empathy.

I found Dr. Boynton to be professional, thorough and very friendly. I can't understand the negative comments about her. She answered all my questions in an unhurried fashion before my colonoscopy. I had zero after effects from the procedure. I would go back to her in a flash. I could not answer all the questions below because my case was not urgent and I did not visit her office, as scheduling was done over the phone upon my doctor's referral.

Very poor bedside manner. She left a very condescending voice mail when we had asked several times for her to call us back with results from a test. Didn't have a good experience with colonoscopy and was defensive when confronted. She also refused to accept that my dad needed to have fluid drained from abdomen even though every other doctor including nephrologist, internal med dr and hospitalist all believed it was a problem. In the end they drained almost 2 gallons of fluid so she was wrong.

She said she would call in a prescription on a Friday and it would be ready for pick up by Monday, and it's been a couple weeks to no avail. Gave my family member a form to take a test immediately after the appointment, but failed to realize that you have to fast 12 hours in advance for the test. Also, said that the test usually is a waste of time because of false negatives. My pregnant family member is gassy, throwing up, and suicidal about her conditions symptoms. She doesn't deserve this.
