Saw another neurologist in Commack area but wasn’t getting anywhere. Found Dr. Spinner on Google he is worth every bit of his top ratings. Very kind and caring. He didn’t rush me out of the room. When I left I knew more about what I have and what can be done for it. If you’re looking for a Neurologist this is a great one.

I had a visit today in the Commack office as I have been a patient for many years. I was 2 minutes late for my appointment which when I walked into the office I was greeted with laughter and staring from many different personnel from the front desk. They then proceeded to tell me the doctor had left as she had her own appointment. My drive from my work place is 45 minutes so when we’re they going to tell me the doctor cousins see me and they should’ve called to reschedule. As a supervisor myself, that is unacceptable from staff as I felt they were targeting me. I spoke with the office manager Denise who expressed that I will be given the VIP treatment and swore she was sorry. This was completely unacceptable and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Their employees should be trained better to interact with their patients.

Dr. Spinner is a great neurologist. He will answer all your questions and explain things. He doesn't rush or make you feel like a question is beneath him. His personality and manners are great. If every doctor was like him I would love rather then hate going to doctors. Every time I have gone to Dr. Spinner he made me feel like family. Thank you!

I read lots of the reviews posted here about Dr. Spinner so I decided to make an appointment. I saw him today for myself and I have to say he is a top neurologist without question. It was immediately clear to me that I was seeing someone who actually cared and was really up to the challenge I came with (I saw at least 3 other neurologists who didn't know what to do with me). I am so happy that Dr. Spinner took the time to get all the details and then discuss my case with his team of doctors. Lets see how things go but I have a positive feeling about everything.

Dr. Spinner was one of the most compassionate (and caring) doctors I have ever met!!! He’s so professional and extremely kind. As a new patient, he spent a significant amount of time with me, and really wanted to help me get to the bottom of my neurological issue. He’s very soft-spoken, and extremely knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend any one of my family and friends to him! It was by far one of the most pleasant and stress-free experiences I have had with a doctor in a very long time. The office staff was incredible too! Appointments with Dr. Spinner are difficult to come by, so call as soon as you can.

I have been a patient of Dr. Spinners for several years however it took today to motivate me to write a review. What I experienced today was really special. The doctor seeing I was saddened about the loss of a close relative sat with me and consoled me for almost an hour. I can't imagine how backed up his schedule was as a result but he saw I needed him and he was there. We barely discussed the medical issue I came in for following up on. He just listened to me and offered me strength in my time of need. This is compassion that you just don't see and it warms me to know there are still people that will listen, hold your hand. Through my tears I thank you Doctor.

great evaluation provided by the office i was diagnosed with sleep apnea..took awhile to get details on testing required for sleep study. sleep study was completed. i went to office for results, and cpap machine was not ordered yet. this was 2 weeks after sleep study. The person I saw was very nice, but lacked the needed information so i could continue with my treatment. Finally received machine, which is working fine. My only complaint is office's lack of needed data when i went back on more than one occasion. otherwise, im satisfied with the care i received.

I am writing to thank you and your entire staff for the excellent care received during my visits to your office in October and November. Entering the office that morning when we met I was experiencing what was thought to be the flu for close to 10 days. My wonderful wife of 38 years says it’s the sickest she’s ever seen me (sorry for not shaving and wearing sweatpants!) Your diagnosis and treatment regimen for myasthenia gravis helped me greatly. I can't believe the thoroughness and great care I received. I am very grateful for everything you did for me. My wife is especially grateful because I can take out the garbage again.
