This content was provided by Dr. Slaten "Prior to his position with NEOSM, Dr. Slaten was in practice for six years as Medical Director of the Integrative Pain Treatment Center at the St. Joseph Outpatient Center in Milwaukee, MN. Dr. Slaten completed a spine pain fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine. He received his bachelor's degree in economics at Washington University, where he graduated magna cum laude and became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine. In addition, Dr. Slaten was named Top Doc by Castle Connolly in 2015 and is a former President of the Wisconsin Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has also authored textbook chapters on knee pain and complex regional pain syndrome (RSD), and has written several journal articles on selective epidural injections. When not attending to patients, the Rockland County native enjoys running and hiking."
