Dr. Cooper is highly intelligent and works to figure out root causes of symptoms. He is kind and caring. He handles very complex cases which U of M doesn't give him additional time in his schedule for. During an appointment, he gives 110% of his attention. It is harder to get attention from him between appointments because his schedule is so busy. When medication trials don't work, it isn't the fault of the doctor. There isn't a "one size fits all" answer and it takes time to find solution

After suffering with chronic migraine headaches for decades, and trying everything I was offered by dozens of doctors, I was referred to Dr. Cooper. It took a while to get an appointment, but he was every bit worth the wait. He took his time with me. Listened. His manner was kind, interested, and insightful. He mapped out a course of treatment that I have been following for 3+ years now, with remarkable results. I could not be more pleased. Highly, highly recommend for migraine sufferers.

He does not care about his patients, does not have the time to see them, does not return phone calls to referring physicians. I waited 2 years to get in with him, only to be in the same place I was before going there. Waste of time and money to see him. The office doesn't care about the patients either, they are all there for money.

I would not recommend Dr. Cooper to anyone. He treats you like you're a test dummy. He has prescribed 11 different medications for migraines, none have worked. All medications are in the tranquilizers. Urgent care found a medication that actually works. He doesn't treat you like a person. You are just a number. All he wants is your money. U of M doctors do not speak with each other which isn't good for your care. Dr. Cooper you have an opportunity to improve you're interpersonal skills!
