I find Dr. Bishop very attentive and genuinely interested in hearing about my ailments. He is very thorough in his explanations and is receptive of questions. I opt to have my injections without anesthesia. During the procedure, Dr. Bishop continually asks if I am feeling ok and keeps me aware as to how the procedure is going. Dr. Bishop's has given me hope for my future happiness. I truly appreciate his expertise in my care!

Wow! Was told not to come back. I saw Dr Bishop nearly two years ago. I have degenerated discs and spondylithesis which causes me severe pain when my back goes out- 2 to 3 times a year. in 2018 he prescribed me Tramadol. The drug worked wonders in that I could walk, but after only a few doses, I had severe side effects. He told me that I could cut the pills in half or even quarter. So I asked if he could give me a new prescrioption. He told me that they use Tramadol on mission trips and that it lasts ten years. The bottle says discard after March 2019. When I mentioned that he told me the mission trip thing again. He told me that my PCP can prescibe me a muscle relaxer. In other words, he couldnt be bothered with me. I was referred by my PCP, paid for the visit, yet was treated with such disregard as if he were saying stop wasting my time. Never had this problem in my 58 years.

I was a patient of Dr Bishop. He is the better of a bad lot. I went through the hell of pain clinics for 12 years, Dr Bishop was just my doctor for a couple of those years. I will tell you that every pain clinic Doctor is there to get you hooked on opiates, once they have you hooked, they force useless and very expensive "procedures" on you. They will even make you sign papers that basically say that these procedures are almost always useless, and they will cheat you and your insurance company by doing "practice" procedures before they then do the "real" ones, and keep pumping the costs up. Once you realize they are quacks, and the procedures don't work, and you tell them, "no more useless procedures" they get angry with you, and threaten to take away your opiates if you don't let them make money off of you. This is all facts, my friends. Find another option. Opiates will make your life worse.

I am a patient of a pain mng. doctor who I've been seeing for over 2 yrs monthly. I have been on pain mng. for 10 years monthly after I had 3 spinal fusions in NY with verified (ENG) nerve damage to the L4 and L5 nerve root. I am now told by 5 dif. medical Surgeon and Neurosurgeon expert opinion I've obtained which state that I will need 2 to 3 more fusions due to my degenerative disc disease that I was blessed with in my early 40's. Dr. Bishop wont even see me? UNPROFESSIONAL! & UNETHICAL!

I have been treated by Dr. Bishop for nearly two years now and this loving and caring man has become like a son to me. I have post hepatic neuralgia as well as both knees blown. Dr. Bishop continues to try the newest breakthroughs that might help both of my problems. He takes the time to listen, he is never in a hurry, I come first. His staff are some of the most dedicated people one might hope to encounter by someone experiencing pain. Recommend him? Absolutely !

Had shoulder pain and lower back pain. Dr. Bishop told me I had to choose one for him to treat as he could not only do one at a time. Geez, my plumber and car mechanic can work on multiple things at the same time. I chose the lower back. He then told me the first procedure probably not work so a 2nd procedure would be required. I then tried to schedule the first procedure and it would be a month before an opening was available. It was just a shot in my back. Really? What a joke. Going elsewhere.

Dr. Bishop Listened. He seems to care and wants to help. Compassionate,Informed, and up to date. Dr. Bishop has changed from Pain Solution Treatment Center and i will probably be changing to follow him even though i have to drive twice as far. They never notified me of the change. They just changed my Dr. giving me no say in the matter which i think is wrong.

Dr Bishop has been treating me for quite awhile. He is the kindest and most caring Doctor I have ever been to. I deal with a lot of pain daily. I have RSD among other problems so it has been a long hard journey. He is an excellent Doctor and individual. I can not say enough good about him. Just wish others would learn from him how to treat their patients. He is professional but very personable also. Wonderful Doctor!

I have been seeing Dr. Bishop for many years at another practice. I absolutely love this Doctor. He is so kind and considerate. He works so hard to find the answer to your problem. One thing I love is when he gives an epidural or any kind of an injection he will keep deadening the area to make sure you do not feel any pain, I mean he really cares about the patient. The other injections that I have had did not take the time to keep on and it made you dread having it done. I love this Doctor.

Dr. Bishop has been very patient with me and very supportive and very helpful in managing my pain , he is always quick to recommend outside activities that can help such as swimming , stretching and ice therapy. He has never forgot to call in a prescription when he told me he would do so. He is the most dependable doctor I have had an experience with, he has established my trust and confidence because he does what he says he will do. Very basic and simple principles practiced by Dr. Bishop.

My aunt has needed medication for chronic pains for over twenty years now. She has always handled her medications as an upstanding citizen should. Having just moved down to Hiram, she tried for two months to meet Dr. Bishop, and there were always issues on his end. Finally, after nearly two months, her prescription was nearly empty. He finally called on Thursday night, when her meds were due that following Tuesday to just now say that he rejected her. Totally unprofessional and unhelpful.
