Compassionate Doctor
Dr Vineet Choudhry M.D. is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. He takes time to review procedures, and answers questions. I have never felt rushed. I feel very comfortable with my examinations. His staff is excellent, and accommodating with my schedule. I highly recommend him.

Super pleasant doctor and surgery was easy peasy
I had a hemorrhoid removed and had been dreading it for years. It was seriously the simplest surgery and the recovery was not bad at all. Dr. Choudhry has a very pleasant bedside manner and was very professional.

Awful Office and Follow- up care! Find someone els
My surgery went ok, but his office staff is a joke. I called multiple times only to get his voicemail, which was full on MULTIPLE occasions. While Dr. Chaudry seems to be a good surgeon his office and nursing staff dropped the ball on multiple occasions and I was forced to go to an ER for relief. Austin certainly has plenty of surgeons who must employee a more caring, competent and intelligent staff. PATIENTS BEWARE!

I love this doctor! I was hospitalized at St. Davids with a bowel blockage and Dr. Choudhry was called in to follow my case in the event I would need surgery. He was excellent and I truly believe that his expert directions were the reason I did not need the surgery. (He canceled a medication that had been ordered by a GI doctor that should not have been.) He even spent time explaining to me my entire CT scan and all that it revealed—not just the bowel issue. He went above and beyond the expected service. I hate to admit it but he was the only doctor assigned to me during that visit that I had faith in. Due to the way this form was set up I was forced to put in info on my office visit which I did not have but I have spoken with his office assistants and they were quite friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Vineet Choudhry to any friend or family member with great confidence.

Had some severe pain a week after Robot Lysis of Adhesions. Went to ER and said it was diverticulitis new onset. With follow up from surgery, Dr. Choudhry was able to suggest a plan to help me with pain from diverticulitis. He is very thoughtful and listens. He was my advocate when another Dr. should have seen me. The office staff is supportive too. I’m so happy I have a surgeon.

First class surgeon! Referred to him by my regular doctor's office for a hernia repair. They will get a 5 star for this referral! He has excellent respect also, by the nursing and anesthesia staff and others at St David's Medical Center, south Austin. Highly recommend that you put yourself in his care when needed!

Cannot say enough about the wound care Dr. Choudhry and his staff gave to me when it seemed like nothing was going to end the infection in my back from an unrelated surgery. Dr. Choudhry was involved initially as a consultant but after about 45 days, it became apparent that something other than antibiotics had to be done. He took me into surgery and found an internal stitch that had become infected that was causing the never ending drainage from the wound. After a few weeks all is well again.

Dr Choudhry performed a Laproscopic Hernia Repair on me one week ago today. From the first appointment in early December to the Surgery on December 28th everything went so smoothly it made it bearable having a hernia... He took the time to explain fully the entire procedure even a display of the materials used in the procedure. He gave me confidence in his ability to perform the procedure with my best interest in mind.
