I saw Dr. Sammarco for a painful bunion and hammertoes. I was put off surgery for years because of all of the different opinions given to me by different doctors. He was thorough in his evaluation and spent a long time with me explaining my x-rays and the type of surgery needed to correct the problem. Surgery was a success and I am finally rid of my bunion. Thank You!!!

Not sure if because I am a younger person or not. But he spent less than 5 minutes speaking with me. After I waited an hour in his waiting room from my appt time. But he was very dismissive and did not actually want me to talk at all. No questions answered, because adequate time was not given to discuss my concerns. I will never go back to him.

I honestly feel like I owe my ability to walk to Dr. Sammarco! I came to his office for a second opinion after I had already had two repairs on my Achilles. I could clearly tell that something was wrong with my Achilles, but the doctor I previously had was not confident enough to do anything. As soon as I saw Dr. Sammarco, he knew exactly what was wrong and got me on a path to healing. He was straightforward through the whole process and I can now walk as easily as before my injury.
Fairfield, OH |
Takes his time, and appears genuinely concerned in finding a correct diagnosis for proper treatment. Refers out to trusted colleagues. Thorough in examinations. Very good doctor.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sammarco. My husband had successful foot bunion surgery. Yesterday I had foot surgery. One day post op I feel really well. I like the amount of information I received pre op andnpost op. Dr. Sammarco's office even sends you home with videos to review that have been very helpful. The office staff is kind and immediately helpful. The office is spotless. I would never go anywhere else. 100% confidence in him.
Springfield, OH |
Dr. Sammarco successfully corrected several things that were wrong with my foot including fusing three mid joints, correcting a bunion, and straightening and shortening a second toe. In an effort to prevent another surgery, he has provided an ortho insert to ease discomfort where a spur has formed along the outer side of the same foot. I never experienced pain with three incisions and the installation of metal fittings. I felt completely confident in his skill as a reconstructive surgeon.
in Florence, KY |
I had a heel reconstruction. My condition was so bad I'd been told by two doctors that I had a 50 percent chance of not walking again after surgery. I waited almost ten years and found Dr Sammarco who gave me 97 percent success odds and eight months later I can walk without pain for the first time in nearly a decade. I would highly recommend Dr Sammarco to anyone. His bedside manner was great and the surgery recovery and results were so much better than I expected.

I broke my ankle 6 months ago and was told it probably wouldn't be the same again. I went to see Dr. Sammarco for another opinion and he repaired the broken bones. I am now doing great. His office is friendly and efficient and my care was excellent.
in Maineville, OH |
I thought Dr. Sammarco was always very professional. He always answered any questions and I never felt that he was hurried, giving me all the time I needed to feel comfortable with the procedure I was going to have. I am very satisfied with the outcome.
Hamilton, Ohio |
Had an ongoing issue with my Achilles from playing football. After seeing 2 other doctors that just kept sending me to therapy, I saw dr Sammarco. He ordered an MRI and performed a surgery that made it so I could play the sport I love again. He did very well at explaining everything. Great experience post op.
in Cincinnati, OH |
He did an excellent job correcting my foot issues. I am happy with the results of surgery which was done for arthritis of my ankle (ankle replacement) and arthritis of the other foot.
in Dayton, OH |
Dr. Sammarco is a caring physician who has taken care of me and my family for years. He is always thorough and always explains what is wrong an what our options are in terms we can understand. He is a wonderful doctor with a great sense of humor. When he took my case, it was from a broken ankle several years ago that required surgery. That is now healed completely, and I have come back for several other conditions which he was able to treat successfully without the need for surgery.
