Dr. Brander's Care Philosophy

My focus is on a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to the treaement of joint pain and arthritis. I believe in first finding the exact cause of pain, and then exhausting all nonsurgical treatments prior to surgery. I focus on exercise, physical therapy, integrative therapies, diet, medications, injectible agents, orthotics, patient education and surgery when indicated. I am involved in teaching and research, which helps me bring the state-of-the-art treatments to the patient's bedside.
