Dr. Pricolo was my physician when he was practicing in Rhode Island. In 2005 it was discovered that a J-pouch I had done at Lahey Clinic had failed due to my developing Crohn's disease. I had become very ill and immediate surgery was required. I was in very bad shape when he performed this very difficult surgery. Dr. Pricolo is not only immensely skilled, but he is compassionate and took very good care of me. I will be forever grateful. I only wish he was still in Rhode Island.

I wish I could leave a 0 star review. I've never had such a bad experience. Dr. Pricolo gave me a colonoscopy with no anesthesia. He just told me to hold on to the nurse's hand and don't move an inch or else he'd have to start over. It was the worst experience of my life. The reason for him giving me a colonoscopy is that he suspected Crohn's disease. He did not see me after the procedure. And he did not take a biopsy, so at the follow up appt. he told me I had to have another colonoscopy.

I had a routine colonoscopy. Ahead of the procedure he answered all my questions, in the operating room he was calm when talking to me and staff, and afterwards came by the recovery room for an update. (Staff instructions were thorough, good coordination with my primary care doctor, and the outpatient surgical center staff provided excellent care).

When they say they don't make them like that anymore, Dr Pricolo must have been the model for that quote. From his most courteous staff, the availability of an appointment, and finally meeting with the Doctor, his expertise is one where his complete and total knowledge in his field lends itself to a confidence that all possibilities have been considered when his prognosis is rendered. He truly leaves his patients most assured of his diligence and commitment to their needs. Zac, NYC
