I came to Dr. Andikyan in a very difficult and unique position requiring surgical intervention. I am choosing to be discrete in the specifics of my case. He heard out my concerns and hopes and gave me his very honest assessment. It was not what I wanted to hear (although its what I expected to hear) and I expressed that. He told me we needed to run more tests and he needed to consult on my case. I returned to see him having prepared myself to tell him we would not move forward. To my very pleasant surprise he informed me that he had consulted with other doctors and decided he would do surgery while trying to preserve instead of just remove the affected organs. He again informed me this was not what he would advise but he was willing to perform the surgery in this way as he had heard and valued my input and priorities. I am eternally grateful for his care and skills. Prior to seeing him, I had met with some high profile specialists in NY who were very costly. I am so glad I chose him.

I highly recommend Dr. Andikyan to anyone needing a consultation or help from a gynecologic oncologist. He is a highly skilled surgeon who is also a researcher and is up to date on all the most effective techniques. Should you need surgery, Dr. Andikyan assembles a very competent team to assure that you receive the finest help at each level. His has a commitment to personal and professional excellence and will make sure that you are treated in a timely fashion with the best possible option used for your condition. My surgery was a difficult one and I was told by two surgeons that it would require a long vertical incision. Dr. Andikyan, knowing my personal circumstances, decided to do the surgery with a smaller incision so that my recovery (during an extremely tragic time in my life) would be easier for me. In turn, he made the surgery more difficult for himself. I have the upmost respect for a surgeon who does what is in the patient's best interest. I am forever grateful.

There are enough words of thanks that I can express to Dr. Andikyan and his staff. From the minute I walked into the reception area I knew I was going to be well taken care of. Dr. Andikyan and his staff were just truly amazing. I was prepared through every step of the way for my surgery. Dr. Andikyan took the time to sit and explain everything that was going on and every step of the procedure. He is a compassionate and caring doctor, as is his staff. I am truly blessed to have had him as my doctor. His is brilliant and it was a privilege to have Dr. Andikyan as my doctor.
